facelift at 38... am i crazy?

ok judge me if u want but im 38 and my jawline is sagging and it bothers me SO much. had a consultation for a mini facelift and the surgeon said im a good candidate but my friends think im too young and should do threads or ultherapy first. idk tho cos some people say threads only last like 6 months which seems pointless for the money?? got quoted 45k aed at a clinic in healthcare city. is that normal?? anyone done a facelift in their late 30s?? was it worth it or do u wish u waited not sure what to do tbh
