How to find the right vaccination service
A branch may publish a general vaccination service, a childhood vaccination service or a travel clinic. Select the reason for the visit first, then narrow by emirate or centre. A result means a checked official source links that branch to the selected service category.
It does not mean every branch carries every vaccine. Exact product availability varies by age, season, stock and eligibility, so confirm the named vaccine or protection product with the branch before travelling.
Start with services supported by current branch evidence
Routine childhood vaccination in the UAE
The UAE has a mandatory national childhood vaccination schedule from birth through Grade 11. Eligible government routes provide routine vaccinations, but the booking authority and required documents can vary by emirate and residency status.
Take the original vaccination record if available and ask about missing doses or transferring a record between authorities. Do not create a catch-up schedule yourself. A licensed clinician or immunisation team should decide the doses and timing for the child’s age and medical record.
Travel, Hajj and Umrah vaccination
The route changes with the destination, departure date, age and need for a recognised certificate. Select travel services in the finder, then ask whether the centre provides the exact vaccine and the certificate required for the destination.
Hajj, Umrah and other travel requirements can change. Check the destination authority’s current rules for the date of travel, rather than relying on an old list or a general travel-service listing.
Adult and seasonal vaccination
Flu and other adult vaccination services vary by season, age, risk group and stock. Eligibility and clinical recommendations may differ from one person to another.
Medifinder does not currently list flu branches as a separately verified category because the branch evidence we hold does not prove that exact service. We will add it only after an official branch-level source audit.
Before you book
Prepare the exact vaccine or service name, the recipient’s age, dose number and previous vaccination record. Also ask about eligibility or residency, appointments or walk-ins, current stock, total price, insurer approval, certificate and required documents.
Discuss pregnancy, severe allergies, illness, medicines or any other medical concern with a licensed clinician. Directory information is not a substitute for an individual medical assessment.
Quick call checklist

How Medifinder checks a vaccination listing
We include only branches tied to a checked official source, retain branch-level evidence and a review date, and recheck the evidence periodically. A source may support a group service or a specific service category.
We do not infer product stock, price, vaccination hours or insurance cover from a group service page. Those details stay unknown until the provider or responsible authority publishes them clearly.
What should you compare before choosing a branch?
Use this checklist with the finder. If the source does not publish an answer, treat it as unknown and confirm directly.
| Check | Question to ask |
|---|---|
| Service match | Does this branch publish the exact service category? |
| Exact product | Is the named vaccine or protection product confirmed? |
| Age and eligibility | Who can receive it at this branch? |
| Dose and timing | Which dose is needed and how far before travel? |
| Stock | Is the product available today? |
| Cost | What is the total cash price, including consultation or administration fees? |
| Insurance | Is the specific benefit covered, and is there a co-pay or approval? |
| Certificate | Does the branch issue an official certificate that will be accepted? |
| Booking | Is an appointment needed, and which documents should you bring? |
| Evidence | What is the official URL and when was it checked? |
Vaccination in the UAE: common questions
Where can I get vaccinated in the UAE?
Medifinder currently lists 85 official-source-supported branches across 8 emirates. Choose a service category and location in the finder, then confirm the vaccine, stock and eligibility with the branch before travelling.
Are childhood vaccinations free in the UAE?
Routine vaccines are available through government programmes for eligible people. Access rules and documents vary by authority and emirate, so check with the health authority or centre.
Does health insurance cover vaccines in the UAE?
It depends on the product and policy. Network membership alone is not proof of cover. Confirm the benefit, co-pay and pre-authorisation.
Can I walk into a vaccination centre?
Some centres accept walk-ins, while others require an appointment or eligibility check. Confirm with the centre first.
How do I know whether a vaccine is in stock?
Medifinder records published service evidence, not live stock. Call the branch to confirm same-day product availability.
Where can I get travel vaccines for Hajj or Umrah?
Use the Travel, Hajj or Umrah filter, then confirm the exact vaccine and accepted certificate with the centre against current official requirements.
Is RSV protection always a vaccine?
No. Some RSV protection products are monoclonal antibodies rather than vaccines, so the product type must be labelled explicitly.
Can Medifinder tell me which vaccine I need?
No. Medifinder helps find published services. A licensed clinician or official programme determines medical suitability and schedule.
