Editorial policy.

MediFinder is an independent UAE healthcare directory that brings data on doctors, hospitals, clinics, insurance networks, and treatment prices together in one searchable place. We are a publisher of this information; we are not a healthcare provider and not a substitute for medical advice.

We write in a factual, neutral register. We describe treatments, clinics, and prices as they are, without promotional language or overstatement. We do not use healthcare marketing claims such as “best”, “safest”, or “guaranteed”, and we do not use deal or discount framing — in line with the medical-advertising standards of the UAE health authorities (the DHA, the DOH, and MOHAP).

We present factual price ranges in comparable units, and we do not rank providers by clinical quality. How we source and verify the underlying data is set out on our methodology page.

Clinical information on treatment pages is reviewed by licensed clinicians, and each reviewer is matched to their field: a cosmetic dentist does not review hair-transplant content. When a reviewer is assigned to a page, their name, credentials, field, licensing authority and jurisdiction, and original and most-recent review dates are shown.

Clinical review is kept entirely separate from price checking: our data operations team verifies prices, and no clinician signs off on prices. We are in the process of assigning reviewers across content areas, and we do not show a reviewer’s name on a page they have not actually reviewed.

We do not sell placement in, or the ordering of, search results. No provider can pay to be listed, to rank higher, or to remove a competitor. Claiming a profile and making corrections are free. Any sponsored content, where it exists, is clearly labelled as such.

If something is wrong or out of date, we want to fix it. Any visitor can suggest an edit from a listing, and providers can claim their profile to update it directly. We review reports and correct what we can verify promptly.

We work to keep information accurate, but it may not always be complete or current. Being listed on MediFinder is not an endorsement or guarantee of any doctor or clinic, and a facility licence confirms only legal permission to operate — not care quality. Before booking, confirm a practitioner’s licence directly with the relevant UAE health authority, and make medical decisions together with a qualified healthcare professional.
