How MediFinder uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can manage them.

Last updated: 24 May 2026

1. About This Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Breez Marketing Management L.L.C-FZ ("MediFinder", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the MediFinder website, mobile site, and related services (the "Platform"). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more broadly.

2. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They allow the site to recognise your device, remember your preferences, and understand how you interact with the site. We also use related technologies such as local storage and pixel tags; for simplicity, we refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.

Cookies set by MediFinder itself are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by other services we use on the Platform are called third-party cookies.

3. Categories of Cookies We Use

3.1 Essential Cookies

These cookies are required for the Platform to function. They keep you signed in to the provider and admin portals, remember your language preference (English or Arabic), and protect against common security risks. The Platform will not work correctly without them.

  • Supabase authentication (sb-*-auth-token and related cookies) for provider, clinic, and admin sign-in sessions.
  • Locale routing for serving the correct English (/...) or Arabic (/ar/...) version of each page.

3.2 Analytics Cookies

These cookies help us understand how people use the Platform so we can improve search results, page layouts, and content. We use the analytics data in aggregate; we do not use it to identify you personally.

  • Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*) for page-view, session, and traffic-source reporting.
  • Microsoft Clarity for anonymised session replays and heatmaps that help us spot usability issues.

3.3 Advertising and Measurement Cookies

These cookies measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and help us reach people who may find the Platform useful. They are only loaded on our production site (medifinder.ae); they are not active on staging or preview environments.

  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel (_fbp, _fbc) for conversion tracking and audience measurement across Facebook and Instagram campaigns.

4. Third-Party Services

The analytics and advertising cookies above are set by third-party services. Each of these providers has its own privacy and cookie practices, which we encourage you to review:

We also use Supabase for hosting and authentication, and Vercel for hosting the Platform itself. These providers may set technical cookies necessary for the service to run.

5. How Long Cookies Last

Cookies are either session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay on your device for a set period or until you delete them. The cookies we use range from a single session up to two years; the exact duration is set by the service that issues each cookie.

6. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you view which cookies are stored, delete them individually or in bulk, and block cookies from specific sites or all sites. Disabling essential cookies will affect features such as signing in to the provider portal.

Browser-specific guidance:

You can also opt out of specific analytics and advertising services directly:

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as we add, remove, or change the services we use. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
