Dr. Omendra Narayan, known to families as Dr. Omi Narayan, is a Consultant Pediatric Pulmonologist and Sleep Physician with more than 20 years of experience. He cares for children from infancy through adolescence with chronic cough, difficult asthma, sleep-disordered breathing, cystic fibrosis, primary ciliary dyskinesia and rare lung disease, and he performs bronchoscopy and manages long-term ventilation. He spent 16 years in the UK's National Health Service, mainly at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, where he was a Consultant Respiratory Pediatrician and led the bronchoscopy, sleep and long-term ventilation services. He trained at Evelina Children's Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital and Birmingham Children's Hospital, holds dual UK certification (CCT) in Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. He has served as Director of Pediatrics and Director of Sleep Medicine at American Hospital Dubai, is Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Sharjah, and has 57 peer-reviewed publications.
