Dr. Mucio Porto

Dr. Porto has travelled the world to solidify his knowledge in teaching centres such as Baltimore, New Orleans, Philadelphia and Miami in the U.S. for training in facial peels, videoscopic facial surgery, hair implants and breast augmentation with adipose stem cells. He attended the French Institute of the Hand and the liposuction clinic of Professor Yves-Gerard Illouz in Paris, France, and took part in visits to the Cantonal University of Geneva in Switzerland, the Breast Reconstruction Institute of Genova and the University of Milan, Italy. He completed a master's in the study of ageing (Gerontology) at the Catholic University of Brasilia in 2008, passing with honours with a dissertation on "The nose on Aging, a study through self-portraits." He is an Associate Professor at the College of Medicine at Uniceub University in Brasilia, Brazil, and a member of several medical societies including the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is also a Senior Faculty Member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and teaches courses for doctors in Dubai, Las Vegas, Mumbai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Miami, Cairo, Kuala Lumpur, Melbourne and Sydney. He currently practises at his clinic in the South Lake district of Brasilia, Brazil, and at AIG Clinics in Dubai.
