Bhanupiriya Mahadevan is a speech, language, feeding and swallowing therapist with more than eight years of experience in India, Malaysia and the UAE. At Mediclinic Parkview Hospital she works with patients from newborn intensive care through geriatric rehabilitation. She conducts and interprets FEES and videofluoroscopic swallowing studies and manages paediatric feeding problems, tracheostomy communication, voice disorders, stroke, brain injury, head and neck cancer and neurodegenerative disease. She holds first-class honours in Speech Pathology and a gold-medal MSc in Deglutology and Swallowing Disorders, with certifications in oro-myofunctional and oral-placement therapy.
